?Como? Methinks we are coming from completely different local syndication areas. To quote the youth of today (rather than telling you to gag yourself with a spoon or put a hose up your nose hoser which is what you really should do) I must say (like ed grimley) I was talking 313, sucka, not some bitch-ass Ted- Nugent- fellating 517! I come from the both the Land Downunder AND Bill Kennedy Country, beetch, and on local t.v. 50 on the UHF, along with the far superior and more Eastern-minded but more difficult to receive t.v. 20(this was where Johnny Socko and Ultraman and those cut-out Marvel cartoons resided), ruled the airwaves of 1980’s kid-heaven morning and afternoons in the D. Channel 7 may have had frigging APEWEEK and MONSTERWEEK but those holy weeks were rare as Christmas and Halloween, whereas ROBOTECH was on at 6 in the a.m. every damn M through F, followed by Wheeled Warriors and then the Great Space coast. This Glorious Truimarvirate ruled in honor fro most of the years 1985-1986 until the calamity of the ThunderCat / SilverWings Invasion, wherein things went downhill fast…bad He-Man reruns in the late afternoon, truncated Beaver episodes at 2:30, the elimination of Japanese Influence, the utter disappearance of the Marvel line-up…oh, things would improve (with the coming of Batman), but the Dark Years of kid-programming were upon us…Bill Kennedy died, APEWEEK was replaced by Morton Downey JR. and his nefarious ilk, and nary a Wheel or spoke or Saw could be found as a remnant of the once-proud Warriors… Shame, Shame on your 517 House for Doubting Jayce!
